Ms. Courtney is the Artistic Director for FIERCE Dance Studio. She directs the Christmas Show and May Production as well as other performance opportunities in the community for our students. She has extensively trained (from Florida to NYC to LA) in all styles of dance from Classical, Russian & Technical Ballet to Contemporary, Clogging, Gymnastics, Hip-Hop- Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theater, Pointe, Tap and Voice. She was an award-winning, elite competitive dancer along with being awarded many dance scholarships nationwide.
Courtney is also the Artistic Director for "FIERCE Dance Company" home of many National Grand Championship winners. Her students have earned numerous First Overalls, Top Ten, Best Musicality, Best Choreography, Technique awards along with dance scholarships for all over the U.S.
Courtney is a Regional & National Dance Competition Judge and Director. She collaborated with Disney for the Inauguration of The Disney Dream Cruise Line, founded her own Professional Dance Company “Court’s Elite,” choreographed pieces for sell out shows at a Local Theatre in which she also performed in, takes her Company Members to NYC to perform in The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and trains other dance studio Directors and Teachers to help them progress to their highest level.
Courtney travels nationwide teaching master classes and workshops for all styles of dance. She teaches her students to be mentally and physically empowered. Courtney wants her students to walk away from a class feeling like they reached a new height, pushed themselves more, and opened a new emotion they didn't know they had before!
